Holker Hall & Peel Heritage bring the classic novel Black Beauty to life this summer in a stylish and contemporary open-air theatre production.
As told through the eyes of the stallion, the story follows Black Beauty's life as a work horse in the 19th century - from his carefree days on a country farm to a more gruelling existance pulling cabs in London, and his dark days down the mine.
The performance roams around the Hall's stunning grounds creating a truly immersive experience.
Suitable for ages 6 - 80+, the production tackles some of the more gritty aspects of this well loved tale. Think "Warhorse" meets "The Railway Children".
