A whole range of festive activities from carol singing to festive crafts and cookery demonstrations to teas with Santa have all contributed to an extremely successful Christmas opening at Holker.

Sarah Ross, Head of Visitor Services commented " After last year's extensive snow falls disrupted our programme of events for Christmas, it has been a real joy to look back on the last few weeks and reflect on a series of successful events. The highlight for me was undoubtedly our evening candlelight opening in the hall. A huge team of people worked so hard on all the decorations this year and to see them in the beautiful, soft candlelight was a real privilege."

The last event of Christmas at Holker is on Wednesday 21st December - Winter Walk and Tea With Santa. The Food Hall, Gift Shop and Cafe remain open until midday on 24th December.
