Holker Ewe's Milk Dairy

The latest addition to the Foods of Excellence range comes from Martin Gott who moved to the Holker Estate in 2006 with his milking sheep flock.  Martin produces various Ewe's milk cheeses and has won awards for his products and has a regular market for his cheeses in London.

His principal cheese is called ‘St James’ and this is a salt washed Ewe's milk cheese.  However he also produces ‘Little Hoad’ which has a very clean crisp flavour.
