Holker Venison

There has been a herd of menil fallow deer at Holker Hall for some 300 years who have remained closed within the 90 hectares of parkland throughout this time.  Therefore the herd has great purity of breeding and has one of the finest blood lines in the country and this is reflected in the quality of the meat.
 
The Estate venison is sold through the Food Hall, is available on the Courtyard Café menu and there are plans to develop venison sales by mail order in the near future.
