A popular Producers’ Market held at one of Cumbria’s best loved family attractions returns next month with a festive theme and a special guest appearance from everyone’s favourite Christmas visitor.
The Christmas Producers’ Market takes place at Holker Hall & Gardens at Cark-in-Cartmel on Sunday 14th December.
Along with the chance to sample the very best in local artisan produce, families and younger visitors will have the opportunity to visit Santa in his cabin in the courtyard and take part in Christmas crafts.
Up to fifteen local and regional producers including fine meats and cheese, beer and sweets will be sampling their tasty treats and offering visitors the chance to pick up some Christmas recipe tips.
Jillian Rouse, Visitor Services Manager said “Our popular Producers Market showcases some of the regions best artisan food and drink and at the December Market we will also host children’s craft sessions and the chance to meet Santa. This special one day event will offer something the whole family can enjoy”.
With free entry and parking the Producers’ Market is open from 10.30am until mid afternoon. The Courtyard Café, Holker Gift Shop and Food Hall will be open from 10.30am to 4.00pm.
Christmas craft activities cost £2.50 per child and will run in the Burlington Room between 10.30am – 12.30pm and 1pm – 3pm.
A visit to Santa in his cabin in the courtyard is available between 10.30am – 11.15am, 11.45am – 12.30pm and 1pm – 2pm and costs £2.50 per child which includes a small gift.
