Assistant Rural Surveyor

The Estate is seeking to recruit a recently qualified Rural Surveyor to assist in managing the Estate's property interests.

 

 

The Holker Estate is a 17,000 acre landholding lying principally within the Cartmel and Furness peninsulas in South Cumbria.  The Estate comprises many diverse business interests ranging from farming and forestry to quarrying, leisure and tourism.

The Estate is seeking to recruit a recently qualified Rural Surveyor to assist in managing the Estate's property interests.  This is an exciting full time position supporting the Group Property Manager.

The ability to with with enthusiasm, flexibility, demonstrating attention to detail, competency and possessing a capacity for hard work are all essential skills required in this role.

The remuneration package is dependent on skills and experience.  Applications from graduates expecting to achieve RICS qualification in the near future will be considered.

NEW for 2017 - Snowdrop Weekends

17th - 19th and 24th – 26th  February 2017

The Holker Gardens will open for two weekends in February 2017 for the snowdrop season.  Usually closed through the winter months – this will be the first time the Gardens have been open to the public during February since 2011.
