Make the most of this rare opportunity to see the Holker Gardens during late winter - enjoy a gentle stroll and see the trails of delicate snowdrops and bulbs as the Gardens and Parkland spring back in to life.
The award winning Holker Gardens (25 acres in all) are part woodland and part formal. Beyond the formal Gardens you will find the vast, rolling expanses of the Parkland. The Holker Courtyard Café, Food Hall & Gift Shop will be open Friday, Saturday & Sunday (10.30 – 4.00) from 9 February until 18 March.
Holker Hall & Gardens opens for the main 2018 season on Friday 23rd March to Sunday 28th Oct 2018. Discover a glorious mix of long walks, spectacular floral displays and the magnificent family home, Holker Hall. Highlights include the cascade and Burlington Fountain, The Sunken Garden, Pagan Grove and the 400 year old Great Holker Lime. (Hall & Gardens: Wed – Sun (+ Bank Holiday Mons) Café, Food Hall, Gift Shop & Park: Mon – Sun, 10.30am – 5.00pm (Hall 11 – 4).
One of the highlights of the season is the annual Holker Spring Fair open to the public on 19th & 20th May 2018.
Set in the bustling Courtyard and Piazza, visitors flock to this spring showcase for a chance to discover delicious artisanal food, glorious flowers and plants and beautiful handmade gifts alongside lively entertainment. Gates open at 10.30am – 5.00pm. Entry is £3.00 per adult, accompanied children free of charge, and includes parking and entry to the Café, Food Hall and Gift Shop.
Holker Hall is busy making final preparations for what is fast becoming one of the most popular dates in its seasonal events calendar. The Winter Market, taking place on the 4th & 5th November, has grown from a small selection of local producers to a bustling winter market attracting some of the best artisan producers in the North West.
