Are You Brave Enough to Discover the Wild Woods of Roudsea This Halloween?
As part of their Haunted Holker-Halloween fun! Holker Hall & Gardens has joined forces with Natural England to bring you a truly haunting experience at the local Roudsea Woods and Mosses National Nature Reserve
Tucked away at the bottom of a narrow road just outside Haverthwaite lies one of the areas lesser known gems. Roudsea Woods and Mosses National Nature Reserve provides a cross section of habitat unique to this area. Its abundant wildlife and hauntingly beautiful setting makes it the ideal location for some Halloween fun.
On Saturday the 29th of October from 5:00-7:30pm join Holker Hall & Natural England for a spooky walk through Roudsea’s ancient woodland and experience a truly wild place at night-time!
There will be lots of fun activities along the way as you hunt out the nocturnal wildlife living in the woods. And, there may even be a few spooky surprises!
The walk itself is easy-going and no more than 1 mile long. The walk and activities are suitable for adults and children aged 4 years and over.
Supportive footwear, warm, waterproof clothing and a torch will be necessary. Fancy dress is optional!
Pre-booking is required as numbers are limited. Tickets are £3.00 per person. Please book your place by calling Holker Hall on 015395 58328.
