Halloween Fun!

Join us this Halloween for a wicked walk, loathsome lantern competitions and creepy crafts.



Event Date:

Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th October 2017

Wicked Walk in the Holker Garden on Thursday 26th October at 2.30pm

Join the Holker guide on a Halloween walk full of mystery and spooky shadows in the magical garden.  

£3.50 per person.  Fancy dress encouraged.  Children must be accompanied, suitable for 3 years upwards. Pre-booking recommended. (Max of 2 adults per child)

 

Creepy Crafts

Hands-on creepy craft activities will take place daily.  Drop in sessions will run from 10.30am - 12.30pm and 1pm—3pm £4 per child.  No need to book. 

 

Self Guided Halloween Garden Trail

If you would prefer to tour the gardens at your own leisure, why not purchase a Halloween Trail sheet?  Sheets cost £1.  Garden admission is charged, Adults £8.50, children free.

 

Loathsome Lanterns

Bring along your own carved lantern, be it pumpkin, turnip, sqush or marrow and take part in the competition.  Judging daily at 12.15pm and 3.15pm.

Holker Celebrates Christmas

Join us as we celebrate Christmas.  Visit the beautifully decorated hall, make a festive wreath to take home or bring the children to a fun Christmas circus workshop.  There's something for everyone to enjoy at Holker this Christmas.

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop

A Christmas Wreath Making Workshop with Ros Harrison. 

Friday 1st December at 10.30 and 2pm.

£25 per person which includes all materials.

A pre-booked lunch available of soup, a festive baguette and tea/coffee in The Courtyard Cafe - £8 per person.

Special rate for entry to the Hall for pre-bookings only - £5 per  person.

Visitors to Holker Hall are in for a treat as some of the best artists from Cumbria and the North West will display their work in one of the only local art markets dedicated to painters and printmakers.
