Spring Fair set to entertain all!
With just over two weeks to go until the Holker Spring Fair entertainment plans for the event are being revealed and organisers have confirmed the addition of a royal roving performance by The Fairly Famous Family theatre performers. Bringing their Kitsch Café act to life with a special twist on the weekend of the royal wedding, they will be entertaining visitors and exhibitors with a Roving Royal Wedding Cookery Special!
The visiting Why Not Alpacas – these furry friends will be greeting visitors across the weekend.
In addition to food homewares and crafts there will be a fine floral element to the show with Chris Benson of Brownthwaite Hardy Plants attending, (Chris exhibited at every Holker Garden Festival at from 1992 until 2016) and the events team are delighted to see him returning to the estate!
Gates open at 10.30am – 5.00pm. Entry is £3.00 per adult, accompanied children free of charge, and includes parking and entry to the Café, Food Hall and Gift Shop.
A Spring Evening Barbeque will take place at The Ilex Bar and Brassiere in the Holker Courtyard following the Fair on Saturday 19th from 5pm. A selection of local meats, salad bar and artisan breads will be available. Pre-booking essential. Families welcome. Adults £12.95, children (up to 12yrs) £8.95.
