Enjoy something different everyday at Holker’s spring celebration
ONE of Cumbria’s most historic properties is set to welcome crowds of visitors to its bank
holiday celebration of spring.
Holker Hall and Gardens will host its three day spring fair from Saturday, May 4 to bring
together food and craft exhibitors from across the North West with lively, family-friendly
entertainment set against the backdrop of a magnificent stately home.
The event has been timed to perfectly coincide with thousands of majestic spring bulbs in the
grounds hitting peak colour.
Holker Hall and Gardens general manager Heather Creasey said the weekend would have
something for the whole family to enjoy.
“This is another lovely, long bank holiday weekend and we’re looking forward to welcoming
people through the gates for each of its three days.
“We had a record number of visitors over Easter so we’re hoping many will come back to see
what we’ve got in store for them at our spring celebration.”
Heather added: “The timing of the fair is also perfect as the spring planting in the gardens is
also just about to reach its very best before the summer displays edge their way towards centre
