Happy couples invited to attend Holker’s first ever wedding open days

NEWLY engaged couples will get the chance to see one of the region’s most romantic homes dressed for a wedding this Sunday and Monday, May 5th and 6th.

Beautiful Grade II listed Holker Hall offers timeless, romantic interiors and unspoilt surroundings tucked into one of the most quiet and peaceful corners of the Lake District.

Brides and grooms-to-be are invited to visit to find out more about the exquisite venue during its first ever wedding open days.

Those attending will be able to see Holker Hall dressed for a wedding before viewing the garden terrace where happy couples and their guests are able to enjoy drinks and canapes after their ceremony.

The wedding pavilion, which can seat between 150 and 200 guests, is located just a short stroll away in the pristine grounds and will also be available to view.

Heather Creasey, Holker Hall and Gardens general manager, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming newly engaged couples to our wedding open days on Sunday and Monday this weekend.

“We will be able to show them around the beautiful hall and the rooms in which they could choose to hold their ceremony, as well as the terrace and wedding pavilion which offers a truly stunning setting for a wedding breakfast.

“The atmosphere at Holker Hall is always magical, whatever the time of year, so we hope couples searching for their perfect venue will come along to see just how special it really is.”

In addition, anyone who registers their interest with Holker Hall’s wedding co-ordinator on either of the two open days will qualify for a special offer – £500 off the cost of evening food on the day of their wedding – should they confirm a booking by Monday, June 3*.

*This offer is not transferable and applies to bookings confirmed by deposit before midnight on the aforementioned date.
