We are absolutely delighted to share that Holker Hall & Gardens has been named Best Tourist Attraction in the 2025 Cumbria Life Awards.
To win such an accolade here in the UK’s most competitive visitor region – the Lake District and Cumbria, welcoming more than 18 million people every year – is truly special. What makes it even more humbling is that this award was decided by a readers’ vote. It means that our visitors themselves chose us, and that is the highest honour we could ask for. Thank you.
We would like to congratulate all the other winners and finalists, who together showcase the dedication to customer service and creativity that makes Cumbria such a remarkable place to live, work and visit.
This recognition belongs to the whole Holker Hall & Gardens team. From our dedicated gardeners who nurture the grounds, to the guides who bring the history of the Hall to life, to our café and shop colleagues who offer a warm welcome, and to the many behind-the-scenes staff who keep everything running smoothly – this is a celebration of everyone’s hard work.
But most of all, this award belongs to our visitors. Thank you for your votes, for your support, and for sharing your time with us. It is your enjoyment, feedback and encouragement that inspire us every day.
