Come and join us for a morning of Yoga & Brunch in the beautiful grounds of Holker Hall with Carly from Lakes Yoga.
Before the grounds open we will have the place to ourselves – what a treat! Outside (weather permitting) we will start our Yoga practice connecting to our surroundings with a grounding meditation, enjoying the peacefulness of the place.
We will spend some time practicing pranayama (breathing) techniques before moving through a series of asana (Yoga poses) that will mobilise the joints of the body, stretch out the muscles, and release any held tension – leaving you feeling wonderful for the rest of the weekend ahead! Our relaxation will be outside on the grass amongst the trees and the birds – bliss!
Following our Yoga practice we will have a delicious and healthy vegetarian brunch together. Brunch will be a choice of yummy pancakes with a fruit compote and natural yoghurt, or poached eggs on sourdough and smashed avocado. Served with juices, teas or coffee.
The morning starts at 9am with our Yoga practice, brunch will be served 11am. You are then free to enjoy the grounds further. Suitable for all, no experience required. Complete beginners to experiences practitioners are welcome. You will need to bring your own Yoga mat or towel.
If the cumbrian weather isn’t on our side – we will take the Yoga indoors!
Family Yoga & Nature Connection
Sunday 8th August, 10.00am-1.00pm
Spend some quality time with your little ones on this special family yoga and nature connection session with Carly from Lakes Yoga.
We will be outside enjoying the grounds of Holker Hall whilst we practice some mindfulness techniques, Yoga poses, partner poses, play some Yoga games and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to bond further with your child(ren), let your hair down, relieve some tension and enjoy the benefits of Yoga.
We will also dedicate some time connecting to nature, and may even hug a tree or two!
Included in the day is a delicious packed vegetarian lunch (kid friendly), and an opportunity to explore the grounds further.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and must be 6 years or over. You will need to bring your own Yoga mats or towel.
If the cumbrian weather isn’t on our side – we will take the Yoga indoors! But please wear appropriate clothing for some exploration outside regardless.
