Holker is a great place to come for Groups visits, whether as part of a pre-booked coach party, a membership organisation or a less formal social group, There’s a whole variety of benefits to enjoy if your party comprises 12 or more people, which is why so many of our Group visitors return year after year to stroll in our iconic, ever-changing Gardens, experience a guided tour of the legendary Holker Hall, then savour a tasty bite to eat in our welcoming Courtyard Cafe.

Q. Do you offer discounts for Groups?
A. Yes, we offer reduced admission rates for parties of 12 or more arriving in one vehicle, which can substantially reduce the overall cost of entry. Speak to Visitor Services about a discount for your Group

Q. Can you help me plan our Group visit so we get the most out of the historic Hall and beautiful Gardens?
A. Of course, we’d be delighted to. We’ll discuss your needs with you then produce a flexible, pre-planned and personalised itinerary especially for your Group

Q. How will we know what to do when we get there?
A. When you arrive by coach (or other group vehicle), we offer a personal welcome service from a Holker team member who will board on arrival, issue tickets and leaflets and answer any questions you may have. We even give group organisers free entry and coach drivers receive a Courtyard Café voucher

Q. One of our Group members uses a wheelchair – will they be catered for?
A. Yes of course, accessibility is very important to us. There is wheelchair access throughout the site except for the first floor of the Hall and we offer free attendance for accompanying essential carers*. Designated Blue Badge Parking is available close to all facilities and tours can be tailor-made for disabled visitors by prior arrangement. Disabled toilets are located within the Courtyard Café.

Q. My Group would like to have lunch there, do you offer discounts for Groups?
A. Yes we do. We have a wide range of food options for groups to order in advance, ranging from soup and a sandwich, hot and cold buffet, and even afternoon tea. All include a group discount (for groups of 12 or more) and we would be happy to tailor it to your specific wishes. You are still welcome to eat and drink in the café without prior arrangement, of course.
