Visiting Holker Hall & Gardens has just become even easier.
From 22nd July until 31st August, a new seasonal bus service will stop right outside the entrance to Holker Hall & Gardens, making it simple to enjoy a relaxing day out without worrying about driving, heavy traffic or road diversions.
Whether you’re planning a leisurely stroll through our award-winning gardens, exploring the fascinating history of Holker Hall, or simply treating yourself to lunch and coffee in the Courtyard Café, you can now sit back, enjoy the journey and let someone else do the driving.
Celebrate the new bus service with exclusive visitor rewards
To mark the launch of the new bus service, we’re offering a range of exclusive rewards for visitors arriving by bus.
The first 10 visitors to arrive this season using the new bus service will receive FREE admission to both Holker Hall & Gardens.
After that, every bus passenger can enjoy 10% off admission to Holker Hall & Gardens.
Simply present your valid bus ticket when you arrive to redeem your discount.

The new service makes Holker Hall & Gardens even more accessible for visitors staying locally or exploring the South Lakeland area.
Spend the morning wandering through 25 acres of spectacular gardens, discover centuries of history inside one of Cumbria’s finest historic houses, browse our Gift Shop, and enjoy locally sourced refreshments in the Courtyard Café before catching the bus home.
