Art Workshop

Discover a season-round programme of inspiring monthly art workshops at Holker Hall & Gardens, where creativity meets the beauty of the estate. Led by skilled artists and makers, the workshops explore a rich mix of techniques including botanical casting, decoupage, cabochon jewellery, fabric painting, and lino cutting and printing. Designed for all abilities, each session offers a relaxed, hands-on opportunity to learn new skills, spark creativity, and take home something truly unique.

Here’s what to expect in July with Hannah from Creative Ewe:

Thursday 16th July – Introduction to Lino Print

10:30am- 1pm

£30 per person

Join us for a creative morning learning how to design and make your own lino prints.

In this 2.5 hour session, you will learn the key techniques of lino printing, including carving your own lino block, inking, and hand-printing onto a variety of papers. You’ll experiment with patterns, textures and designs to create unique prints, with plenty of guidance throughout. You will be able to take home a selection of your finished prints that you will be proud to display or gift.
