Discover a season-round programme of inspiring monthly art workshops at Holker Hall & Gardens, where creativity meets the beauty of the estate. Led by skilled artists and makers, the workshops explore a rich mix of techniques including botanical casting, decoupage, cabochon jewellery, fabric painting, and lino cutting and printing. Designed for all abilities, each session offers a relaxed, hands-on opportunity to learn new skills, spark creativity, and take home something truly unique.

Friday 15th May – Introduction to Découpage

10:30am- 1pm
£30 per person
Découpage is the art of of decorating objects using paper and glue. In this 2.5 hour session, you will learn the main techniques and methods used to decoupage items. There will be a choice of boxes, ceramics, coasters, slate and glass to practice on and you will be able to take home items you will be proud of.

Wednesday 17th June – Introduction to Cabochon & Paper Jewellery Making
10:30am- 1pm
£30 per person
Join us for a morning of learning how to make beautiful jewellery with paper, bezels and glass cabochons.
In this 2.5 hour session, you will learn the main techniques and methods of making beautiful jewellery using steel bezels, a range of papers and glass cabochons. There will be lots of items to chose a selection from including rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, broaches and keyrings and you will be able to take home items you will be proud of.
