Go behind the scenes at Holker Hall & Gardens with our Walled Garden Workshop, a hands-on experience for gardening enthusiasts of all levels. Explore the hidden corners of the walled garden, learn from our expert gardeners, and discover seasonal planting techniques, garden design tips, and sustainable practices. Whether you’re looking to hone your skills or simply enjoy a closer look at the estate’s beautiful gardens, this workshop offers an inspiring and interactive way to connect with nature and the magic of Holker.
Tea, coffee and cake will be served to you during the morning in the beautiful setting of the Walled Garden where you’ll have the chance get expert advice on your own specific gardening challenges and how to overcome them.
The private Walled Garden is just beyond the open gardens, access is along a path which is a little steep and will require sensible footwear. Please note that unfortunately the path is not suitable for wheelchair access.
