Holker’s Walled Garden, Cut Flowers from Seed to Vase

Spend a morning in the Walled Garden on this unique experience designed to inspire and delight.
You will enjoy a behind the scenes look at the Walled Garden, discover its history and how the Holker Garden teams past and present use the space. With a focus on cut flower production, this experience will take you on a journey from seed to vase where you’ll learn the art of creating a cut flower garden and how we do it at Holker.
Expect our expert gardener’s talk to be illustrated with demonstrations and opportunities for you to experience a closer look through hands on seasonal techniques.
The experience will culminate in you selecting Holker grown flowers to create and take home your own posy.
Tea, coffee and cake will be served to you during the morning in the beautiful setting of the Walled Garden.
The Walled Garden is just beyond the open gardens, access is along a path which is a little steep and will require sensible footwear. Please note that unfortunately the path is not suitable for wheelchair access.
