Outdoor Yoga & Brunch

Come and join us for a beautiful morning of Yoga & Brunch in the stunning grounds of Holker Hall, guided by Carly from Lakes Yoga.
Before the gates open to the public, we’ll have the space entirely to ourselves – a truly special experience. If weather allows, we’ll begin outdoors, gently arriving with a grounding meditation and connecting to the peaceful surroundings.
Our practice will include calming pranayama (breathwork), followed by a flowing sequence of asana (yoga postures) designed to mobilise the joints, stretch the muscles, and release any built-up tension – leaving you feeling refreshed and uplifted for the weekend ahead. We’ll finish with a deeply relaxing savasana, resting on the grass beneath the trees, accompanied by birdsong… pure bliss.
After yoga, we’ll come together to enjoy a nourishing brunch, served in the popular Courtyard Café. You will be able to choose from an open avocado breakfast bagel topped with seasoned beef tomato, fried egg,
sumac, tomato and chilli jam and dressed rocket or pancakes served with berries, yogurt and maple syrup.
The morning begins at 8:30am with yoga, followed by brunch at 10:00am. Afterwards, you’re welcome to stay and explore the beautiful grounds at your leisure.
This event is suitable for everyone – from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Please bring your own yoga mat or a towel.
If the Cumbrian weather has other plans, we’ll simply move the practice into the great Hall.
